The Covid-19 situation is still evolving. No matter the change, our first priority will always be the health and well being of our customers, staff, and partners. We are monitoring and adapting all health and safety recommendations as currently expressed by Federal, State, and Local authorities. We will be updating our procedures and policies as required for the health of our communities.
As always, our master bed makers, warehouse, and support teams are still on the payroll, ready to provide safe, reliable service.
We've been making beds and mattresses in New York since 1855.
Over that long history, we've been through good times and bad.
And have learned again and again, working together, the American spirit will always prevail.
These days a good nights' sleep is more important than ever and we're here to give you exactly that.
Looking for a unique leather sleigh bed? You'll find it here. Since 1855, Charles P. Rogers has manufactured original headboards, metal beds, daybeds, trundle beds, canopy beds and bedding. Our product line has evolved to include brass, wrought iron, wood and leather sleigh bed styles as well as high quality bed linens that complement any of our elegant beds.
Our Hampton bed suggests vintage Hollywood glamour and is upholstered in supple and sensuous vintage brown full grain leather. The quilted diamonds are soft and comfortable, the scroll edge beautifully scalloped. The footboard and feet are solid Mahogany hand-finished in a rich coordinating color.
The framework for each leather sleigh bed is handcrafted from kiln dried hardwood. Upholstery is built up in multiple layers to provide an appropriate level of firmness and comfort with special attention given to maintaining the shape and contour of the final form. Premium high density foam is exclusive to many of our beds - it conforms to the required shape yet returns to its full, original contour when pressure is removed. The comfort is unmatched with the added benefit of retaining its full, upholstered form without sagging or wrinkling. Great care is taken in the actual upholstering process to ensure a high quality fit. Tufting is done by hand using traditional techniques.
By necessity, we remain a small company as our products cannot be mass-produced. The advantage for you is that our staff knows and cares how beds are made and we know to get them to your home efficiently, economically and professionally assembled.
We offer our products directly to the public from our website, Manhattan factory showroom and catalog, as well our New Jersey Clearance Center. We also have locations in New Jersey and KOP, PA. Products listed on our website and in our catalog are currently in production or in stock allowing us to offer substantial savings from our regular made-to-order prices.
